About Bricks & Minifigs Eugene

By Brian and Corrie Aljian

We are two nerds who met on a Usenet news group (remember those?). We were married in Oregon in 1997 and now have three sons: Sebastian (22), Oliver (20), and Lucas (15). In our time together, we have lived in Rhode Island, Maryland, California, and Oregon before settling down here in beautiful Lane county to raise our kids.

As a child, Brian loved to play with Legos, and the floor of his room was often covered with Legos, with just a small path from the door to the bed. Brian then shared his love of Lego, and Lego collection, with our boys. In particular, Oliver loved imagining with the minifigures, and Lucas loved building with the bricks. The idea for Bricks & Minifigs began when we visited the Bricks & Minifigs store in Beaverton with our family and thought "wouldn't it be great if Eugene had a store like this?" Minifigs and Bricks… what a great concept! So, we launched Bricks & Minifigs Eugene in the fall of 2017. Now, Brian operates our family business full time, with help from Sebastian and Oliver while Corrie teaches math full-time at Springfield High School.

Our neighbors here are important to us, and the work we both do is centered around supporting this community. For more information about how Bricks & Minifigs supports our local community, click here.

Thank you for choosing us for your Lego needs!

Sincerely,

Brian and Corrie Aljian
