SUMMER CAMP - Introduction to Stop Motion Animation Using LEGO® Materials - July 8-12, 2024

Learn how to tell a story using LEGO materials! Campers will learn how to plan, storyboard, frame, light, shoot, add sound/music and edit their video. Campers will create and take home the minifig star of their movie! Campers must bring their own tablet or phone – see below for details.

What to bring: Campers must bring their own tablet* or phone capable of running Stop Motion Studio. Stop Motion Studio is available for iOS and Android and is compatible with many devices. Please install the software and unlock the All Features Pack ($5) before the first day of camp. Tablets are preferred due to their larger size – it will make it easier for campers to edit their movies. Amazon Fire tablets are not recommended due to software limitations on these devices.

Recommended for ages 8+. This camp runs for four days the week of July 8:

• Monday, July 8 from 3pm to 5pm
• Tuesday, July 9 from 3pm to 5pm
• Thursday, July 11 from 3pm to 5pm
• Friday, July 12 from 3pm to 5pm

Note there is no camp on Wednesday, July 10.
